We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us before your visit.

What happens on Sunday mornings?

Celebration Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. Our service features a choir, accompanied by a band comprised of such instruments as guitar, bass, key board, drums, piano and organ, under the direction of our lead worshiper, Wayne Anderson. Music selections are contemporary hymn arrangements and praise and worship songs. Connection Groups meet afterward at 10:45 a.m. and are provided for Adults, College Students, Youth, Children, and Preschoolers.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than on what you're wearing. Somet folks dress in their "Sunday best" while others dress in jeans and tee shirts. We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress

Where should I park?

On your first time with us we would encourage you to park in the Wells Fargo parking lot on Avenue C, because the main entrance to our church is on Avenue C, right accross from this parking area. We have permission to use the Wells Fargo bank parking lot on Sundays. When you come to the main entrance, you will be welcomed by one of our greeters. Be sure to stop by our Connection Center located just inside the main entrance. We have a gift for you and some information on our church, as well, which we will gladly give you once you fill out one of our Connection Cards. With that contact information, we will then send you a letter the week after, with a coupon for a large pizza at Domino's. That's right, A FREE MEAL DEAL! Then on your next visit with us, turn in your letter at the Conncetion Center to receive a free t-shirt.

Where do my children go?

Connection Groups are provided for children of all ages at 10:45 a.m. Children in first grade and up attend worship with their parents. Activity pages are provided for parents to use with little ones during worship if necessary.Quality childcare is provided for babies through kindergarten. But we do not just do baby sitting! Curriculum is used for preschoolers and they are involved in learning activities.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider FBC your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to the support of God's work through our church. We believe giving to God is an act of worship and a spiritual discipline, just like worship attendance, Bible study, or prayer. We want your experience of growing in giving to be as simple and joyful as possible. It is for that reason that we provide the five ways to give. You can learn more by clicking HERE.
